SACC hosted an epic battle royale on Saturday, February 17th. The event was sponsored by DJ Young Dro, Weazel News, and SchlongbergSach - pooling together a $25,000 grand prize for the event winner. The sky split as rain poured onto the derby lot, setting the mood for what would be an intense battle to be the last car standing.
Elimination after elimination, the event lasted well into the night, ending in a final standoff between DJ Young Dro and Jean Pelletier, in which Pelletier would be victorious, winning the grand prize and a place in the SACC Hall of Fame. After winning, Jean selflessly gave away some of his winnings to his fellow competitors.
