RULES & REGULATIONS
What is San Andreas Motocross (SAMX)?
SAMX is an official SACC Motorsport in which drivers compete with offroad class bikes, trucks, or ATV's,
racing laps on a circuit track, in a battle for 1st place.
How do I compete?
Participants must be over the age of 18, possess a valid driver's license, pass vehicle inspection, and pay an entry
fee of $1000 per race. No membership is required for
unofficial races and registration can be done on the day
of the event. Competing in unofficial races counts as seat
time and qualifies participants for an official SACC SAMX
Racing License. For official SAMX events an SACC
membership, SAMX Racing License, and early registration
are all required to compete in the event.
When and Where?
All SAMX events will be held at Redwood Lights Racetrack.
Unofficial SAMX events will be announced on the day
of the event via Bleeter and the SACC website.
Official SAMX events and open registration will be
announced a few days prior to the event via Bleeter,
SACC website, as well as posted on the event calendar.
Rental
For unofficial events and an additional cost of $2000,
the SACC can provide you with an SAMX Regulation Spec
bike, truck, or ATV for the event. These vehicles book fast
and are issued on a "first come, first serve" basis. Official
SACC members have free access to these vehicles and
take priority in reservation over non-members.
